Making the Holidays Work for Your Orchid Kid

A workshop for parents on building a holiday your family can actually enjoy.

Holidays get hard when the demands of the celebration outgrow the resources your child or family has to meet them.

Join us November 16th 12pm – 1pm via Zoom  for this 40-minute workshop for parents, we’ll rethink the holidays around your child’s capacity instead of around tradition. You’ll learn how to spot the hidden demands, decide which traditions matter most, and adjust the environment before asking your child to adjust.

We’ll also talk about handling relatives’ judgment and holding boundaries without needing everyone to agree.

You’ll leave with one demand to reduce and one boundary to hold. Your child doesn’t owe anyone a performance of holiday happiness, and a smaller, quieter holiday can leave more room for connection.

A 20-minute Q&A follows the talk.
